Children's Taekwondo

Every child has their own unique strengths and faces their own challenges as they grow. Our Kids Taekwondo program is designed to meet them where they are and help them build the foundational skills they need to thrive, both in and out of the dojang.

We help children develop self-discipline and focus in a supportive environment. For children who struggle with attention, our structured and engaging activities provide a positive outlet to practice and strengthen these essential skills.

We believe every child has a gift and unique talents. Our program naturally nurtures confidence and self-esteem with every small achievement. We see shy children blossom, learning to express themselves, stand tall, and step into leadership roles as they progress. Itu2019s not about changing who they are, but helping them discover the capable leader within.

Perhaps most importantly, your child will join a community of peers who are all on a similar journey of self-improvement. Surrounded by other children focused on being positive, respectful, and doing their best, your child will experience the powerful encouragement of a positive peer group.

Weu2019re here to be your partner in nurturing a focused, confident, and happy child. Together, we can help them accomplish amazing things.

Frequently asked questions

How much do classes cost?

We have multiple options available including monthly memberships, 6 and 12 month memberships, and family discounts. We offer a free trial class to start.

How old does my child need to be to start?

It depends on the child and their maturity level. Some kids can start as young as 3, others are better off starting at 5. We wish to have every student benefit from our Taekwondo classes and do not want to sign up a child for a membership if they are not ready to benefit from it. We encourage you to sign up for a free trial class to see how your child does.

What should my child wear to the first class?

Your child should wear comfortable athletic clothes for their first class.

I previously earned a black belt at a different martial arts school. Do I have to start as a white belt?

Not necessarily. Bring your current rank and history with you, and Grandmaster Bruhn will evaluate your skills in person to find the right starting point in our belt system.

How often are the promotional testings?

Testing is held several times a year. Grandmaster Bruhn or Master Baruch lets you know when you're ready, and testing days give the whole school a chance to watch and cheer each other on.

I signed up for a twice-a-week membership. Do I need to attend the same class each week?

No. You can attend any class that matches your rank and program, whenever it fits your schedule that week.

Not sure which class fits?

Come try a class for free and we will help you pick the right one.
